Description: 

The City of Medicine Hat is seeking proposals from qualified vendors  to plan, administer, and deliver Summer Day Camps at the Big Marble Go Centre (BMGC). The successful vendor will provide high-quality, safe, inclusive, and cost-effective programming that reflects municipal standards and community expectations, while leveraging BMGC’s diverse amenities.

Each proponent should provide the following in its proposal:

  1. Transmittal Letter – A brief letter outlining the Proponent’s understanding of the service contract’s purpose and objectives, the benefits they bring to the project, and any potential issues or constraints with proposed solutions. The letter should also identify any additions or deletions to the RFP, include an assumptions section listing all assumptions regarding information or arrangements to be provided by the City.
  2. Submission Form – Completed and signed Appendix B – Submission Form
  3. All requirements itemized in Appendix D - Section G: Rated Criteria
  • First Aid/CPR certification for on-site staff; lifeguard coverage for any aquatics-specific programming (if applicable).
  1. Additionally, Proponents must demonstrate:
  • Ability to operate within BMGC policies and hours.
  • Completion of Criminal Record Checks with Vulnerable Sector screening for all staff and volunteers.
  • Compliance with all applicable legislation (including OH&S and ATIA/POPA) and adherence to City policies on safeguarding and inclusion.
  1. Other relevant information the Proponent deems necessary to support their Proposal.
