| Description: |
The City of Medicine Hat WTP is required, as part of its Approval, to construct a Residuals Management Facility (RMF) that would limit the impact of process generated waste streams (residuals) discharged into the South Saskatchewan River. A conceptual engineering design of the RMF has been completed. The conceptual engineering design has set out methodology for treatment and disposal of residuals. This plan has been reviewed with Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP) and represents the City's chosen path forward.
